The Giley E. N. Griffin Memorial Scholarship honors students who exemplify outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to service. This award provides financial support to first-generation college or trade school students who demonstrate motivation, resilience, and a vision for their future.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
High School Senior: Must be a graduating senior from an accredited high school.
Need-Based: Demonstrated financial need as outlined in the application (FAFSA or letter of need preferred).
First-Generation Student: Must be the first in their immediate family (parents/guardians) to attend college or a trade school.
Academic Performance: Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
School/Community Involvement: Participation in school activities, community service, or part-time employment is strongly encouraged.

Essay Requirement

Submit a 500–800 word essay responding to the following prompt:
